Please join me in welcoming Jacob Doss to the Manager of Dining Experience position!
Jacob Doss, whose roots are in the southern part of India, began his hospitality career in 1997 He has worked on international cruise ships, hotels, and fine dining establishments across the globe. His expertise covers a wide variety and many aspects of food operations.
In 2009, Jacob embraced a new challenge, relocating to Canada, where he earned his Red Seal certification. Transitioning to healthcare in 2019, he delved into food service and nutrition management, finding fulfillment interacting with and serving older individuals.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Jacob is a family man, married with three children – a 16-year-old boy and two girls aged 10 and 6. Discipleship is an integral part of his life, complemented by a passion for music, cricket, and swimming.
Jacob resonates deeply with Menno place goals and purposes, driven by a profound desire to integrate Christian values into the fabric of Menno’s mission. With a heart devoted to compassionate service and culinary excellence, Jacob is eager to contribute to Menno place vision.
Jacob will begin his work at Menno Place on November 27th, orienting with with Angela Ross-Fehr in her final weeks prior to her retirement.
