Shoeboxes from Canada to the world!
“Oooooh, I wish I could see their smiles when they open up this present!”
The women were busy organizing all the items that would be placed in the shoeboxes. This year, residents raised over $600 to provide gifts for children in Haiti, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Chile, Uruguay, Ukraine, Senegal, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Equatorial Guinea!
Operation Christmas Child provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on project of Samaritan’s Purse.
Each shoebox is filled with hygiene items, school supplies, and toys, and is given to children based on their age and gender. The women were excited to add items to the boxes!
This is a special way to express practical love and hope from across the world and across generations!
Merry Christmas!
