What kinds of socks can I donate?
New socks of any size, colour, or style are welcome, including men’s, women’s, and children’s socks.
Where do I drop off socks?
Place new socks in the decorated Sock Angel donation boxes at any Menno Place building entrance between December 11 and 31. The main public drop-off is at the Menno Hospital main entrance, 32945 Marshall Road.
Who receives the donated socks?
All socks collected — both in person and through Amazon — are delivered to MCC in January 2026. MCC distributes them to people in need throughout Abbotsford, BC.

Can I donate money instead of socks?
Financial gifts cannot be directed toward socks. Instead, they support Menno Place’s primary fundraising priority: funding eight new mechanical lifts that will enhance safety and comfort for residents and staff.
Will I receive a tax receipt for donating socks?
No. Tax receipts are only issued for financial gifts of $20 or more.
